Meaning under the Decree

The sign orders the driver of the type of vehicle shown to use the lane so marked in the given direction. Drivers of other types of vehicle may enter such a lane only when passing an obstruction, turning, turning round, or entering or leaving the road, and must not endanger or obstruct the driver of a vehicle for which the lane is marked. Where the lane is reserved for another type of vehicle or for a particular purpose, the relevant prescribed symbol or suitable wording is shown in the blue field.
