Meaning under the Decree

The sign marks the entrance to a tunnel where, in addition to the general rules of the road, special rules for traffic in tunnels apply. For tunnels longer than 500 m, their actual length is shown in the lower part of the sign or on a supplementary plate. For tunnels longer than 3,000 m, the remaining length of the tunnel is shown every 1,000 m.
