Meaning under the Decree

The sign prohibits entry to goods vehicles and special-purpose vehicles. It also prohibits entry to tractors whose maximum permissible weight exceeds 3,500 kg and whose design speed is 80 km/h or more. The sign does not apply to motor caravans. Where a maximum permissible weight is shown on a supplementary plate or on the sign beneath the goods vehicle symbol, the sign applies to vehicles whose maximum permissible weight exceeds that figure. For a combination of vehicles, the sum of the maximum permissible weights of all vehicles in the combination is decisive.
