Meaning under the Decree

The sign shows how to get into lane before a junction or a turning-off point, and the prescribed direction of travel. In justified cases the symbol of the relevant information sign may also be used, provided that the lane in question leads only to that destination. By using the symbol of the supplementary plate "Permitted direction for cyclists", a different lane arrangement may be laid down for cyclists.
