Meaning under the Decree

The sign marks an area, typically part of a municipality, where, in addition to the general rules of the road, special rules for traffic in a pedestrian zone apply. The lower part of the sign states, by suitable wording or a symbol, which vehicles are permitted to enter the area and, where relevant, at what times.
